I've read 4 of these. FOUR! (3, 84, 93, 96). Embarrassing, huh?! But a lot of them, I have seen the movie :)

The Grapes of Wrath was one of THE most unfortuante books I had to read for summer reading as a child. I think you are acutally to feel the pain of that family.

Love your blog!

I have read 14 that I really know for sure. I might have read more but can't remember.
I was a Humanistic Studies major in college and we read a number of these and then in high school I know I read some.

Just discovered your blog va Lisagh's. Very interesting! Seeing as how I've been on the path of rediscovering just how much I can read...well,let's just say I've read no less than 50 of those books. Some of which I absolutely hated. Watership Down heads that list.
Thought 'Lord of the Flies' would make the list...hmmmm?

What's funny is that I was an English major...I have read almost 20 of them. I know I have read PARTS of many many more, and I own almost all! How pitiful is that...
