I actively hate the design of the default blogger templates. I have, unsuccessfully, tried to design my own.
DH is fantastic at programming but I don't let him read my blog so I can't ask him for help.
It's time to call in a professional. Or at least someone with more design skills than me! Anyone know of a blog designer that doesn't cost $1500? (I know, I know. You're a professional, you do this for a living. But I'm not a corporate blog and don't have a corporate advertising budget! *chuckle*)

I haven't done this, so I can't offer any personal experience. I just went to pyzam.com and used a free template they had on their website.
