Vegan, raw, and still tasty? Yes, please!

I'm back from my 5 day jaunt to DC and Philly - a much longer blog post for tomorrow. All I'll say is that I miss my friends, surprise bridal showers are fun, and that the international lounge in BWI airport has very comfy couches where the night crew takes naps at 3am. More tomorrow...

In the meantime, I MUST share the following:


Vanilla fro-yo? Soy ice cream? Coconut creme gelato?

No my friends - frozen banana! For realsies! I read about this on a raw food blog and couldn't wait to try it out because I ALWAYS have frozen bananas for my smoothies.

Banana soft-serve ala Elliott
Blend the following in a food processor:
2 frozen bananas
1 tsp vanilla
dash of cinnamon

After about five minutes of blending, the bananas turn white and creamy just like Red Mango or gelato. IT IS DELICIOUS and you MUST try it!

I'm quite tempted to make some more tomorrow night but sub in some chocolate powder for the cinnamon. Oo...or how about a tablespoon of peanut butter??
